Not sure what curative properties are found in dried hoopie birds or bats, perhaps none… maybe they just offer great flavor since you can buy them at this spice shop. You may be shocked to learn that I did not buy any. Sorry folks, no future blog about a strange meal and my ensuing severe illness from which I may never recover.
