There were tons of rabbits at the market. They are, umm, popular, umm pets here. There were quite a few guinea pigs too. At least the girls selling them were petting them and giving them lots of love.

Aw, bunnies. And hey, my fellow post-doc is named Arnab. Is that the Egyptian word for bunny? Because I will totally start calling him “Bunny” now if it is.

Arnab does mean rabbit… emphasis on the “Ar” not the “nab” syllable. Does he speak Arabic?
