Automatic gunfire,
Tanks rolling by,
Prisons have been emptied,
Revolution!
Oh my!
Memories of the most surreal past few weeks to follow shortly (i.e. someday, maybe…), along with my culinary contribution in celebration of the people of Egypt: Masrizza! In the meantime, this site is experiencing continued increases in the number of hits from people actually searching for “prebiotic chemistry”. Here is a lecture I delivered last November on that very topic. Enjoy!

I am jealous already. Prebiotic Chemistry looks tired and boring in comparison.

I am writing this beachside, sipping a “Kamares Cooler” as the sun is setting on the island of Sifnos. We will write more later, but we wanted to share a few pictures and assure everyone that we are safe and sound.
The following pictures are from the partial day we spent in Athens. We had some time there before our ferry ride to the island and decided to visit the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum. It was incredible, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch as well! The other pictures are from our room at Alkyonis Villas in Sifnos. It’s absolutely perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view of this majestic place! Tomorrow we are going to explore other parts of the island, so there will be lots more to post later on.
